The recommended rug pad may be ±1 inch of the actual rug to ensure the edges of the rug lays flat and the pad stays hidden beneath, it can be also be easily trimmed to fit perfectly using household scissors. Alternatively, you can choose a slightly smaller size manually from our Rug Pad Collection.
We understand that you are experiencing a strong new rug smell. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Dyes, yarn, backing, and packing material all have a natural odor that are sometimes magniflied after being sealed for shipping and storage. Odors should dissipate within a week once the rug is removed from the packaging.
